ADE is an Italian Death Metal band active since 2008. Right from the start, the band chose Ancient Rome as the focus of its themes and source of inspiration: visually, musically and lyrically; the inclusion of classical-era sounding melodies and traditional instruments gives the quintet’s technical death metal a strong epic character.

The band has released four records so far: “Prooemium Sanguine” (2010), “Spartacus” (2013, featuring George Kollias as guest drummer), “Carthago delenda est” (2016) and “Rise of the Empire” (2019).

ADE has been touring Europe since the beginning of its history, being able play along with renowned acts like Behemoth, Morbid Angel, Asphyx, Possessed, Hypocrisy and more and perform in legendary venues as Wacken Open Air (2009), Mass Deathruction Festival (2014), Inferno Metal Festival and Fosch Fest (2015) and more recently the Stonehenge Festival (2023).

The band has just concluded recording its fifth album, which will be extensively supported live in 2024.
